Member Appreciation Breakfast
The CBA Member Appreciation Breakfast occurs on the last Friday of every January. This event shows appreciation to all Carencro businesses. During the event, a CBA Member of the Year is awarded and the Civic Award is given to a person in the community who goes above and beyond to make a difference in Carencro and those who call Carencro home.
Carencro National Day of Prayer
The Carencro National Day of Prayer occurs on the first Thursday of May. It is an hour-long event held at the Carencro Community Center that focuses on prayer for the city, state, and nation. Guests in attendance enjoy a complimentary lunch.
4.0 Student Recognition Program
4.0 Student Recognition occurs in June of every year. This recognition honors 8th graders and high school students in the city of Carencro who have maintained a 4.0-grade point average all school year long.
Veteran’s Day Essay Contest
The Veteran’s Day Essay contest is presented to area 8th graders. Out of all the submissions, a top 10 is chosen and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners receive a monetary prize. All essays tell a story of a veteran that has been interviewed or what Veteran’s Day means to the student.
Carencro Country Christmas
The Carencro Country Christmas occurs on the first Saturday of every December as part of the Christmas in Carencro weekend. The family event has live holiday music, arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, and many Christmas gifts that can only be purchased at Carencro Country Christmas.
