“As many would say, ‘Home is where the heart is.’ I’ve been a resident of Carencro for over 40 years and I can remember a time where it was open fields and dirt roads. Carencro has evolved into a small town with flower shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and many more local businesses, which has made my life and others a convenience. It’s always an enjoyable experience to see old friends and friendly faces and their involvement with the growth and development in what I call home. Local businesses also bring money into our community, which allows up to give back by putting together charity events. It helps to create jobs and historic revenues for tourists and locals. Therefore, I continue to support local businesses.”
