Jake Johnson
President

Jake Johnson is the owner of Warchiefs Sports & RePlay Sports. He is also a personal trainer and spin instructor at Acadiana Fitness Gym and a Commercial Insurance Producer at Poirrier Group Insurance Specialist. He is a member of Kiwanis of Carencro, actively involved in CAFE’ for Schools, and helps with city events hosted by Carencro Cultural District such as Old-fashioned Christmas and Brunch & Beats in the Streets.

He has been married for 23 years and has three sons. He enjoys watching his children play sports and traveling!

Evan Soggy
Vice President

Born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, I’m proud to call Acadiana home. As the General Manager of Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux in Carencro, I’m passionate about leadership, hospitality, and building strong relationships. Outside of work, I enjoy golf, hunting, and spending time with family. 

 

Tonia Johnson
 Secretary

Tonia Johnson is a dedicated supporter of the Carencro community. A graduate of Church Point High School, she earned an Associate’s Degree from LSUE and a cosmetology license from Acadiana School of Cosmetology. She and her husband of 25 years, Jake, are proud parents of three sons, Ian, Zan, and Baze, and have called Carencro home for many years. Together, Tonia and Jake own Warchiefs Sports and RePlay Sports, businesses dedicated to serving local youth and families. Tonia is actively involved in several community organizations, including the Carencro Cultural District and Carencro Kiwanis. She is the President of the C’est Bon Seasoning Fest and is passionate about celebrating Carencro’s heritage, supporting local businesses, and creating opportunities that bring the community together. In her free time, she enjoys cheering on her sons at baseball and basketball games and traveling with her family.

Cindy Cole
Treasurer

Cindy Cole is a proud graduate of Carencro High School and a dedicated community volunteer with a passion for giving back. Following a successful 41-year career in the banking industry, she retired and has continued to devote her time and energy to serving others.

Cindy remains actively involved in her community as Treasurer of the Carencro Business Association, where she helps support and promote local businesses. Her commitment to service extends well beyond her professional career, as she enjoys volunteering and contributing to initiatives that make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Above all, Cindy values family. She is the proud mother of two children, grandmother of six grandchildren, and great-grandmother of one great-grandchild. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, creating lasting memories with loved ones, and embracing new adventures wherever life takes her.

 

Lance Kelley
Member at Large

Lance Kelley is the owner of Guilbeau’s Pharmacy, a third-generation family business that has been a trusted part of the Carencro community for decades. Having grown up in Carencro, Lance has deep roots in the community and is passionate about supporting local businesses and contributing to the area’s continued growth.

Lance earned his degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he served as captain of the Ragin’ Cajuns football team in 2011, developing leadership skills that continue to guide him in both business and community service.

Lance and his wife, Callie, have one son. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

 

Bryan Knott
Member at Large

Bryan
 is lifelong resident of Carencro and a proud graduate of Carencro High School. Bryan has owned and operated Carencro Automotive Center LLC for over 20 years. His business has become a trusted pillar in the community, known for its honesty, reliability, and dedication to customer satisfaction. Bryan and his wife Vanessa, married for 34 years, are proud parents of four children and grandparents to 11. Outside of his professional commitments, Bryan is deeply engaged in community service. He is an active member of Crossroads Church, where he served on the Board of Directors for four years, and remains a committed volunteer with Love Our Schools. Bryan is also a dedicated member of the Kiwanis of Carencro.

In his free time, Bryan enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, traveling, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends. His commitment to his community and his family make him a respected and beloved figure in Carencro.
